Today, no matter where I drove there was either someone nearly bashing into my car, which really would be a blessing...or some pedestrian not paying any attention and jaywalking in the middle of the street... I felt like I was in one of those fake drivers course things where the electronic people come flying out at you and you have to avoid the road hazards.

Growing up the town next to ours had a bicycle safety school (actually I guess they still offer it according to the website. ) They had these fake little stoplights and little houses (see photo to the left) We always wanted to go but never did. Guess it's better than teaching kids bicycle safety on the real streets.
